The girlfriend and I decided to take a little trip to Chicago for 3 days. I had a fantastic time exploring and checking out the touristy spots with her. We went to a beer and wine festival, the Willis Tower, Cloud Gate (the big chrome bean), Navy Pier, the Field Museum, and the Shedd Aquarium. The photographer in me struggled a bit. The weather was not as nice as I wanted it to be. So as a rain precaution I only took my Fujifilm X-Pro2 and the Fujinon 35mm f/2 with me. This is the only weather resistant combo I had. The 35mm (50mm equivalent on full frame) was just a bit too narrow for that city. Next time I go I really want to bring a much wider lens.
I did get some good pictures during our adventure though. So I am just going to drop the gallery here. I hope you enjoy what I was able to get.
